HOW DURABLE IS IT?

Super! We've run our Royal prints with small lettering and loads of colours through 50+ washes and our prints retained their stretch and vibrancy right the way through.
Different to screen print and other similar methods, our prints stretch with the garment rather than cracking.

WHAT COLOURS CAN IT DO?

With the addition of our newest printer to the line - we're now able to closely match most colours. Like all print applications, there are certain screen colours that we cannot match, but majority of RGB colours we can.

We have the ability to Pantone (PMS) colour match. All you need to do is indicate the colors in your order.

If it's screen printing you're after, the amount of colours in one design is limited. The durability along with the colour spectrum a digital print has to offer is why we generally opt for a Royal print.

All in all, we're confident we can provide the highest vibrancy prints on the market.

PRINT TYPE - ROYAL

We're super proud of our prints, and like to think that it sets us apart from the rest.
We've spent years researching and developing the best print method to keep up with the ever evolving logo and design trends. Logo's nowadays often feature multiple colours and gradients that are integral to the identity of the logo, and with traditional apparel printing methods, these aren't always able to be replicated.

With our Royal print method, we combine the hand feel and durability of a screen print, with the capability of digital printing, similar to DTG technology.
Unlike DTG though, no matter the colour or type of material, we can print on it and ensure the vibrancy of our wide ranging colour band.

Our Royal method consists of using a large flatbed printer to print ink in reverse onto a film, the film is then run through a curing unit to bring it to a state we can handle and won't run. From there, we press and apply it to the garment, removing the film and leaving only the ink behind.

Gradients, 1000's of colours, precise prints and NO vinyl!

EMBROIDERY

Embroidery is a popular decorative technique that involves creating intricate designs on fabric using a needle and thread. With advancements in technology, programmable embroidery machines have become a common tool in the textile industry, making the process faster, more precise, and more efficient.

The embroidery print method using a programmable embroidery machine begins with a digital design. The design is typically created using computer-aided design (CAD) software or specialized embroidery software. This design is then loaded into the embroidery machine's computer, which controls the movement of the needle and thread.

Programmable embroidery machines offer a wide range of customization options, allowing for intricate and detailed designs to be created with precision. They can also use multiple threads of different colors simultaneously, allowing for the creation of multi-colored designs. Some advanced machines may also have additional features, such as automatic thread trimming or sequin attachment, further enhancing the design possibilities.

One of the advantages of using programmable embroidery machines is their speed and accuracy. These machines can produce multiple identical designs in a short amount of time, making them ideal for large-scale production. They also offer consistent results, as the designs are precisely executed according to the digital design. Additionally, programmable embroidery machines can be used on a wide range of fabrics, including cotton, silk, denim, leather, and more, making them versatile for various applications such as fashion, home decor, and promotional items.

SCREEN PRINTING

Screen printing, also known as silk screening or serigraphy, is a popular printing technique that involves using a mesh screen to transfer ink onto a substrate, such as fabric, paper, or plastic. Screen printing is commonly used for creating custom designs on a variety of products, including apparel, posters, signs, and promotional items.

The screen printing process begins with a design that is usually created digitally or hand-drawn on a transparent film or paper. This design is then transferred onto a fine mesh screen made of polyester or nylon, which is stretched tightly onto a frame to create a stencil. The areas of the stencil that correspond to the design are left open, while the rest of the screen is blocked off with a waterproof emulsion.

The substrate, such as fabric, is placed underneath the screen, and ink is applied to the top of the screen. A squeegee is then used to push the ink across the screen, forcing it through the open areas of the stencil and onto the substrate below. The screen is carefully lifted, leaving behind the printed design on the substrate. The substrate is then dried or cured to set the ink, depending on the type of ink used.

One of the advantages of screen printing is its ability to create bold and opaque prints with sharp details, making it ideal for designs with solid colors or intricate patterns. It also allows for layering of multiple colors, enabling the creation of complex and multi-colored designs. Additionally, screen printing offers excellent durability, as the ink is typically cured at high temperatures, resulting in long-lasting prints that can withstand repeated washing and wear.

DIRECT-TO-GARMENT (DTG)

Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing is a modern digital printing method that involves using a specialized printer to print designs directly onto fabric, typically cotton or cotton-blend garments. DTG printing is known for its ability to produce high-quality, detailed, and full-color prints on a wide range of textiles, making it a popular choice for custom apparel, promotional items, and personalized merchandise.

The DTG printing process begins with a digital design that is created using graphic design software or uploaded directly to the DTG printer. The fabric garment is placed on a flat printing bed or secured onto a specialized platen, and the printer applies the ink directly onto the fabric surface. The printer uses a combination of water-based textile inks and advanced print heads to deposit the ink onto the fabric, layer by layer, to create the final design.

DTG printing offers a wide color gamut, allowing for the reproduction of vibrant and detailed designs with gradients, shadows, and fine lines. It also allows for printing photographs and complex artwork with high resolution, providing a level of detail and clarity that is difficult to achieve with other printing methods. Additionally, DTG printing offers excellent color accuracy, as the printer can precisely match colors from the original design, resulting in consistent and professional-looking prints.

One of the advantages of DTG printing is its versatility in terms of fabric types and garment styles. It can be used on a wide range of fabric materials, including cotton, polyester, and blends, making it suitable for various apparel items, such as t-shirts, hoodies, and tote bags. DTG printing also allows for printing on both light and dark-colored garments, as the printer can apply a white underbase layer on dark fabrics to ensure vibrant colors and sharp details.

SUBLIMATION

Sublimation printing is a unique digital printing method that involves the transfer of dye onto specially coated substrates, typically polyester or polyester-coated items, using heat and pressure. Sublimation printing is known for its ability to produce vibrant and durable prints that are resistant to fading, making it a popular choice for a wide range of products, including apparel, home decor, and promotional items.

The substrate and transfer paper are then subjected to high heat and pressure in a heat press machine. The heat causes the sublimation ink to turn into a gas, which then penetrates the polyester fibers of the substrate. The pressure helps to transfer the ink onto the substrate, where it solidifies again, forming a permanent bond with the fabric or coating. As the ink solidifies, it becomes a part of the substrate, resulting in a high-quality and durable print that is resistant to fading, cracking, or peeling.

Sublimation printing offers several advantages. One of the main advantages is its ability to produce vibrant and detailed prints with excellent color accuracy, as the ink is absorbed by the polyester fibers of the substrate, resulting in bright and vivid colors. Sublimation printing also allows for printing all-over designs, as the ink can penetrate the entire fabric, including the edges, without leaving any visible lines or seams. Additionally, sublimation prints are typically soft to the touch, as the ink becomes a part of the fabric or coating, without adding any additional layers or thickness.

Sublimation printing is also known for its durability, as the prints are resistant to fading, peeling, and cracking, even after repeated washing and wearing. This makes it suitable for long-lasting products, such as sports apparel, outdoor banners, and promotional items. Sublimation printing is also eco-friendly, as it does not require the use of water or harsh chemicals, and the transfer paper used in the process can be recycled.

VINYL

Vinyl garment decoration is a popular and versatile method of adding unique designs, logos, or text onto clothing items using vinyl material. The process typically involves cutting a design or text out of a sheet of vinyl using a specialized cutting machine, and then heat-pressing the vinyl onto the garment to create a permanent bond.

One of the key features of vinyl garment decoration is its versatility. Vinyl comes in a wide array of colors, finishes, and textures, allowing for endless design possibilities. It can be used on various types of garments, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, hats, and even accessories like bags and shoes.

Vinyl garment decoration offers a durable and long-lasting solution for adding customization to clothing items. The vinyl material is known for its resilience and can withstand frequent washing, making it ideal for everyday wear. It also provides a clean and professional look, with sharp lines and crisp edges that create a polished appearance.

Another advantage of vinyl garment decoration is its ability to create intricate and detailed designs. The cutting machines used in the process can accurately cut out intricate shapes, patterns, and text, allowing for precise customization. This makes vinyl garment decoration suitable for a wide range of applications, from simple logos to complex designs.

In addition, vinyl garment decoration is a relatively quick and cost-effective method of customization. Once the design is cut, the heat-pressing process is typically fast and efficient, resulting in a finished garment in a short amount of time. Vinyl material is also relatively inexpensive compared to other customization methods, making it an affordable option for both small-scale and large-scale projects.

VOLUME DISCOUNTS

On all of our individual apparel products, we offer volume pricing on both the garment and the printing.
This can be viewed on each product page and works based on how many of each piece of apparel are ordered.

For example, if you were to purchase 10x of the ASColour Staple Tee, with printing on both the front and back, you would be eligible for a 25% discount off the shirts and printing cost.

The discount applies to each product, and does cover different variants. So if you wanted to purchase 5x Black and 5x White, in differing sizes, you would still be eligible for the 25% discount!

HOW DO I GET THE DISCOUNT?

Easy! It's automatically applied in the cart. Just add all of your items you wish to purchase, with the required print locations and it will be calculated for you.

WHAT IS YOUR LEAD TIME?

We do our best to get orders out as soon as possible, however our lead time can extend to 3 weeks from artwork approval. Ask us at the time of ordering as to what our expected lead time is and we can give you a more definitive answer.

STOCK ISSUES

Because we offer tens of thousands of colours and sizes of apparel, from workwear, to regular apparel, to hats and to bags, it's impossible for us to hold stock of everything we offer.
We hold stock for our popular items, but luckily, we've got some pretty good support from our suppliers that allows us to be able to order the stock in time to get your order out.

Sometimes however, there may be items that are both out of stock with us, and our suppliers. We'll always let you know ahead of time, and give you an ETA date, but usually have a solution of similar stock also.
